The Chair of Banking and Financial Services does research and offers courses in Banking for Bachelor and Master students. Our research interests consist of traditional banking topics and current issues of financial markets.

The education in banking and finance aims at preparing graduates for leading positions in the banking industry and the requirements they will encounter on the job market. This implies an education based on practical questions, as well as the teaching of methodological, social, personal and professional skills.

In addition to the courses and seminars on banking and finance, the demands are met by extracurricular activities in cooperation with financial institutions. This is supported by the Stiftung Kreditwirtschaft. 

We offer our courses mainly in English to enable foreign students' participation. Meanwhile we want to encourage students of all nationalities to broaden their intercultural competencies and strengthen their language skills.
